Community Outreach

National Heritage Academies stays connected to the community through opportunities that allow our employees to reach others in meaningful ways of their choosing.

NHA Gives

This volunteer program allows our employees to contribute a single one-time donation or a bi-weekly payroll deduction. When donating to NHA Gives, you are lending a helping hand to a member of the NHA family when tragedy strikes.

NHA CollegeBound Scholarship (CBS)

This program offers employees an opportunity to change a life by donating. The employee contributions received through the CBS program award selected NHA 8th graders with a one-time college scholarship that will help put them on the path to college.

The Giving Tree

Each holiday season the corporate office connects with NHA school families experiencing hardship. The giving tree is decorated with gift tags that contain special requests from NHA families. Corporate employees seek to fulfill those requests as an opportunity to take part in ensuring NHA families have a very special holiday!

InSchool

Each year the Inschool program offers corporate employees the opportunity to volunteer at one of the local NHA schools. The program not only helps the students and teachers, but also gives volunteers an opportunity to immerse themselves in our mission and remain connected to the schools.

Fifth Third Riverbank Run

This annual run boosts some fun team bonding and goal setting for our employees. NHA offers an opportunity for its Michigan employees to join two different running teams, the competitive or the social group. A portion of the race fees are distributed among six Michigan-based charities.
