Child care

How to find child care?

National Heritage Academies (NHA) schools often form partnerships with local daycare providers to offer options for parents who need to find before or after school care. Each school is different in what alternatives they can offer. Some schools have on-site programs, while others establish connections with local providers who offer transportation from the school to the site. If you are interested in the child care options for before or after school care available at an NHA school, please contact the school directly.

Which child care providers are the best?

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a daycare provider, including type, experience, number of workers, maximum number of children allowed, pets, days and hours, and licensing. Most states offer a daycare or after school child care provider database where you can search for a provider by city. The database will also include licensing and inspection information as well as any investigations that may have been conducted.
