Alluding to Dr. Seuss’ classic tale of Bartholomew and the Oobleck, students at Walker Charter Academy are running across a non-Newtonian fluid of liquid and solid properties that has ‘rained down’ upon their school. While young Bartholomew rescued his kingdom from this sticky substance, Walker’s 6th graders will race across a pool of oobleck, attempting to ‘walk on water,’ so to speak. Students will then share the mystery behind this zany science experiment with fellow peers.
