Holland —
To prepare to compete in a global economy, Vanderbilt Charter Academy students have been studying microfinance.
Student business teams developed a product — a bracelet — which they sold Friday to their fellow students to raise funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The school chose to donate funds raised to the Make-a-Wish Foundation since one of their own students was a recent recipient of a Make-a-Wish trip.
