Dress Code

To enable students to reach high academic standards, we've put in place a dress code designed to reduce distractions and competitions. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost-effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.

 

Boys K-8 Acceptable Attire:

Shirts must be a buttoned-down polo in a solid color. Acceptable colors are dark green, Red, White, or Navy Blue. Pants must be Black, Navy Blue or Khaki.  Shorts must be knee length and may only be worn in the months of September, October, May, and June.

 

Boys may not wear earrings or ear ornaments, no bandanas or stocking caps, no hoodies, no facial or tongue piercing permitted, no exposed tattoos, no sagging slacks or pants, all shirts must have a collar, shirts must be tucked inside slacks.

 

Girls K-8 Acceptable Attire:

Blouses must be buttoned-down polo in a solid color and be Dark Green, Red, White, or Navy Blue. Pants/Skirts/Jumpers must be Navy Blue or Khaki. Shoes must be Black or Brown.

 

Girls may not wear leggings or spandex under shorts or skirts, shorts are only permitted in the months of September, October, May, and June, shorts and skirts may not exceed 2 inches above the knee cap, sneakers are only permitted during gym (physical education), no house slippers of flip-flops.
