Why Plymouth Scholars?

Founded on academic excellence, moral focus, parental partnership, and student responsibility, Plymouth Scholars is a school like no other – one that can lead to a lifetime of success. We set high standards, focus on real-world skills, problem solving, and how to be a good citizen. Our exceptional teachers meet students at their ability level and challenge them to go beyond. Our students also draft a social contract that reinforces their commitment to their school, their teacher, and each other.

"I have six children that have gone mainly to private schools, but none of the schools compare to what my children and I have experienced this year at Plymouth Scholars." - Plymouth Scholars Parent
Top Reasons Parents Send Their Children To Our School: *
1 School safety is a top priority.
2 Children receive individual attention and instruction.
3 The curriculum provides moral focus as well as academics.
* Based on actual 2013 surveys administered to parents of kids who were returning to Plymouth Scholars

Plymouth Scholars really does have the best teachers. Yesterday all 3 fabulous 2nd grade teachers braved the chilly weather and came out to watch some of their 2nd graders play soccer. As if they don't already work hard enough they gave up some of their weekend for us! Thank you to our fabulous 2nd grade teachers!
During the month of October, we are celebrating MOYA (Month of the Young Adolescent) with our middle school students - The week of October 27-30, middle school students, as part of MOYA observance and celebration, are hoping to fill a tree with mittens, hats, and scarves. An artificial tree will be place in the middle school foyer (2nd floor). Attached to the tree will be clothes pins. Middle schoolers can clip their mittens/gloves, hat or scarf donation to the tree using the clothespins. Our goal is to COVER THE TREE with mittens, hats, and scarves! In the next few weeks, when you are at Target, Meijer, Kroger or wherever, please consider picking up a pair of mittens or gloves (or two) to share with those less fortunate. As always, we appreciate your support, generosity, and kindness. Thank-you.
