I’m a wife to a high school art teacher and a stepmom to a 17 year old stepson. I was a part of the original team that opened Pinnacle Academy in 2004. I’ve had the experience of watching the school evolve over time and am pleased with its development.
During my tenure at Pinnacle Academy I have served as the New Teacher Coach and Lead Kindergarten teacher. I have also taught in Shaker City Schools.

I am married with three grown children. I have a cat named Sylvester or Silly for short.
I love the sense of community between the parents, students and staff as well as Pinnacle’s commitment to academic success makes it a great place to work.
I have been married for six years to a wonderful man. We have two beautiful daughters and Charlie, our dog.
Before becoming a part of the Pinnacle team I was a reading specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina. Then I was a reading specialist and a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Apex Academy.
I enjoy working with a supportive staff and students. I also enjoy helping with the needs of a variety of areas.
My position leads me to new experiences and challenges every day. I appreciate how much I have learned and continuing learning from my everyday events.
I am licensed in Middle Childhood Education, Math and Social Studies, from Cleveland State University.
I taught 7th and 8th grade math and social studies for 4 years.
I like that the Pinnacle teachers and staff are a great team. We all work together for our ultimate goal: Student Achievement.
I was the Site Coordinator for the Champions Summer Program at Pinnacle Academy in the summer of 2009
I have two children, Johnny and Ailani. During my off time, I like to watch and play sports.
