Before moving into the Dean position, I was a third grade teacher for three years. I worked as a Lead Teacher at Sylvan for two years and in the Dayton Public Schools teaching first grade.
I love everything about Pathway! This truly is the first job I have had where I enjoy getting up each morning and going to work. The staff is great and I feel so close to them, almost as though they are my family. Our students are wonderful and we have very supportive and dedicated families.
I have two dogs, a boxer named Tyson and a dachshund named Lilly. I come from a large family. I am the only girl out of six children. Right now my biggest interest is finishing school. When I have vacation time I love to travel to new places. My favorite place is Hawaii and I have been there four times. I also love to go on bike rides or on walks with my friends.
I attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky right out of high school. After 3 semesters I felt led to come back to Dayton and finish my degree at Wright State University. I later went to the University of Dayton and got my Master’s in Educational Leadership.
Pathway is definitely the best place I have ever worked. It is so awesome to be able to work with such dedicated people knowing we all have one common goal….making Pathway the best school in Dayton and Ohio.
It is such a pleasure to have all three of my children attending the school where I work.
