Paramount Academy science students have been looking forward to this exciting experiment all year—it’s the final week of school and they’ll be launching bottle rockets in their outdoor playing field. To coincide with their study of Newton’s third law of motion, gravitational pull and velocity versus acceleration, the students will be lighting up the sky Monday with these mini space rockets, tracking measurements such as height, distance and speed. It will be a fun and educational afternoon for all the fourth graders involved.
