Ohio Dominican- Bachelor's of Arts – Elementary Education
McDaniel College - Master's of Science – Administration and Supervision
I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana for my undergraduate work in Elementary Education. I attended Eastern Michigan University in the graduate program for Reading.
I started my experience as a teacher in Indiana, teaching Kindergarten students at a lab school at Purdue University. I then moved to Michigan where I was a first grade teacher for four years at Fortis Academy before becoming the Primary School Dean. I was the Dean there for two years before moving to Ohio and becoming the Dean at North Dayton School of Discovery.
I love seeing the hard work and dedication of the teachers. I love seeing the students smile in response to the love and care provided by the staff. Their growth and achievement is the highest priority here at NDSD!
I have been in the education field for 8 years with experience as a tutor and a classroom teacher. I have taught grades 5-8 in the areas of Social Studies, Science and Math.
I am a mother of two. I have a 4 year old little boy and our newest addition is our 5 month old little girl.
