To enable students to reach high academic standards, the school has put in place a dress code designed to reduce distractions and competitions. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost effective dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time.
Interpretation of the Dress Code is at the principal and staff’s discretion and their decision is final.
Personal Hygiene
The personal grooming of students should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.
All Students
Students in grades K-5 must wear white or powder blue shirts that have collars and sleeves (includes mock turtleneck, long- or short-sleeved, cotton or knit).
Students in middle school grades must wear navy or hunter green polo shirts (includes mock turtleneck, long- or short-sleeved, cotton or knit).
Shoes must be worn at all times. Shoes must have a closed toe and sandals must have a back strap.
Hats of any kind are not permitted.
Extreme hairstyles are not permitted. Hair length must be out of the line of vision. Hair color must be of natural tones. No Henna hair dye is allowed.
Belts must be worn with pants and shorts that have belt loops.
Body piercing ornaments and visible tattoos of any kind of are not permitted.
Wearing, carrying, and displaying gang paraphernalia, names, signs, or symbols of gang membership are prohibited.
Sweatshirts and sweaters may be worn during the school day. They must be one of the following solid colors: gray, black, white, navy or red. The must be free of symbols or writing that is larger than one inch in height. Landmark branded items are permitted.
One small set of earrings is allowed. Earlobe gauges and earrings that dangle are not permitted.

Girls
Girls in grades K-8 must wear khaki pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers, or shorts that are no more than three inches above the knees.
Solid-colored socks and tights that are white or a dark color are permitted.
