Extracurricular Activities

Fortis Academy has a variety of extra-curricular activities and events available to students in various grades.

Our athletics for 5th through 8th graders includes Cross Country, Boys and Girls Soccer, Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball and Cheerleading.

Fortis also offers co-curricular activities such as 5th grade String Orchestra, Art Club, and a yearly Spelling Bee. Boys and Girl Scouts are also active in our school and community.

There are numerous enjoyable experiences that provide extensions for learning outside of the classroom. We offer National Junior Honor Society and Student Council which allows our students to participate in events that cultivate and promote a sense of community.

Movie nights, school dances, family fun nights and the annual school carnival are also just a few of the opportunities for our students beyond their instructional time.

For the safety of our students, any student who is in the building after 4 pm must be supervised by an adult. If students are not with a parent or in a school sponsored activity after 4:00, they will be signed into Tee Tee’s.  Charges incurred for Tee Tee’s will be the responsibility of the parents.
