Fortis Academy is a tuition-free public charter school in Ypsilanti serving students in grades K-8. We shape instruction to build on the strengths and abilities of each student and integrate Moral Focus™ lessons into every school day. As a result, our students are well-prepared from kindergarten through eighth grade. A Stanford University study found National Heritage Academies partner-school students gained the equivalent of 3.5 months of additional learning each year compared to peers.

Kindergarten Graduation Celebration Join us as we celebrate a very special milestone for our youngest Falcons! Our Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony is a time to recognize the growth, achievements, and wonderful memories our students have made throughout their first year of school. Throughout the year, these scholars have learned, grown, built friendships, and developed the skills that will help them soar into first grade.
