I previously worked at Detroit Edison Public School Academy teaching 5th grade for one year. I have been in the education field for 11 years including teaching 1st, 5th and middle school math for NHA.
I like working with students, staff and parents the most. It is the most rewarding part of my job being able to positively impact many lives. I enjoy the working for NHA because we have the same vision and mission for educating students.
I have one son who is graduating high school this June. I love reading and going to the movies.
I began my career at Flagship Academy as a first grade teacher. After three years of teaching, I moved into the K-2 Dean position.
It is so rewarding to impact the lives of teachers and students on a daily basis.
My husband and I live in Rochester Hills. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking.
I have eight years teaching experience and almost one year in administration.
The growth and development professionally and personally is what I like most. I also enjoy meeting the fascinating people at NHA.
This is my sixth year with National Heritage Academies.
I enjoy working and collaborating with teachers while assisting them to improve student achievement.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. My favorite hobbies are shopping and playing basketball.
