Students at each grade-level study topics that are designed to help them learn to think like a scientist. They learn to ask questions, develop explanations, and test their ideas. Students engage in relevant, real-world activities to learn the scientific process, topical content, knowledge of processes, tools, and technology, and to work collaboratively with others.
