With the explosion in popularity of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and the integration of those sites into the business community, building a network of friends and followers has become critical to business success. Given that, Detroit Premier Academy is preparing its graduating 8th grade class by introducing them to their first networking experience. DPA is hosting its first ever Alumni Event, welcoming back graduates from 2010, 2009 and 2008 – the first class to graduate from the school. This inaugural event will be a great opportunity for students to network with each other, get inside information on what high school life is like and discuss their plans for the future as they continue on their life journeys beyond their alma mater, Detroit Premier Academy.
