Construction recently started on our new elementary playground!  Crews have been working hard over the past few weeks to add additional space, replace the asphalt soccer field with a grass field (with irrigation), create a sledding hill for the winter, and fix our drainage issues.  We also removed the swing set, which did not meet current safety codes.  This is the first phase of a two phase process and should be completed by the first day of school.  We hope to raise money this school year to add additional playground equipment, including new swings!  Check out the construction pictures from this morning:
