Middle School Character Camp 2011
Canoeing, High Ropes, and Teambuilding at Camp YMCA Manitou-lin in Middleville, MI
9/16/2011
Page Content
Over 200 Cross Creek Middle School students took over YMCA Camp Manitou-lin to learn about teambuilding and our Moral Focus Virtues! All Middle School Students are divided into houses at Camp (The Red Rhinos, The Blue Badgers, and The Green Gators) and they earn points for their house for positive behavior and good choices. The house point system is then used throughout the school year. At camp, students were able to climb the high hopes, canoe on Barlow Lake, and help each other through various teambuilding and problem solving activities. Overall, the students had a great time and it was a great way to kick off the year in Middle School!
