To enable students to reach high academic standards, the school has put in place a dress codedesigned to reduce distractions and competitions. Implementing a simple, flexible, cost-effective
dress code promotes student learning and increased academic instruction time. Interpretation of the
Dress Code is at the principal and staff’s discretion and their decision is final.
Personal Hygiene
The personal grooming of students should be in accord with the standards set by the uniform dress code. Students should be clean and neat when at school.
All Students:
Students must wear white shirts with collars (includes mock turtleneck, long- or short-sleeved, cotton or knit). No logos other than school logos are allowed. Shirts must be tucked in.
Brown, black, navy, or burgundy shoes (loafer type or casual dress) must be worn. No athletic shoes except for those brought to school for use in gym are allowed. Boots are permitted only as outerwear. Heels on shoes must be no higher than two inches. Platform shoes or open-back shoes (e.g., clogs) are not allowed. Shoelaces must be tied.
All Boys:
Pants and shorts must be navy or dark blue.
All Girls:
Pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers, and Capri pants must be navy or dark blue and must be longer than the fingertips when the student’s arms hang at her sides.
