Buffalo United Charter School Promotes Health and Wellness with
Back to Football Friday Activities
Are you ready for some football? Buffalo United Charter School students are stepping into the shoes of the Buffalo Bills. On Friday, students will be displaying their NFL spirit while promoting living a healthy lifestyle. Throughout the day students will be engaged in football based academic activities that will concentrate on health and wellness. Just like when NFL players walk out of their locker rooms and on to the field, that morning
(at 7:45 a.m.)
, seventh and eighth graders will walk down the hallway through fog ready to tackle the day as their peers cheer them on. In addition, other students are taking their class outdoors to McCarthy Park as they participate in football drills checking their heart rate and discussing the effects of exercise on their heart rate. And that’s just a couple of the activities taking place throughout the day. So come on out and kick off the football season with some adorable youngsters while supporting living a healthy lifestyle.
