Why Atlanta Heights Charter School?

We set high standards, make expectations clear, and provide a safe and emotionally secure learning environment. In addition, we focus on real-world skills, problem solving, and how to be a good citizen. Our exceptional teachers meet students at their ability level and challenge them to go beyond. Our students also draft a social contract that reinforces their commitment to their school, their teacher, and each other.

A message from Atlanta Heights new principal, Ms. Noletha High: Greetings! I am Noletha High, the incoming principal at Atlanta Heights Charter School (AHCS). I am thrilled to begin the new school year at AHCS, and look forward to meeting all of our families. Please know it is my goal to spend my first several months learning about our school and all of its stakeholders. I eagerly anticipate getting to know the surrounding community and learning about your hopes and dreams for our school. What is important to you about Atlanta Heights? What are we proud of? What do we want to work on? I believe that genuine collaboration fosters ownership of a rich school culture. Supporting our scholars to do well at school, and in their lives, is the center of our work. I am honored to have been selected to serve this community, and will work hard to gain your trust and respect as Atlanta Height’s new principal. Please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself to me. I’d enjoy the opportunity to meet you. I am in the office most days from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning next week. Also, please mark your calendar for the July 31 Meet and Greet! I look forward to meeting all of you!
