10 years classroom experience & 5 years of Administration.

What do you like most about working here?

I have an opportunity to work with a great team of teachers, interact with our outstanding parents and board members, and engage & motivate our scholars daily. I enjoy the fact that we all work together to improve student achievement and motivate our students to give their personal best each day.

Other work experience we might want to mention:

I served in the Indiana National Guard for ten years.

Personal Information:

I am the proud mother of a 14 year old daughter Trinity. She is truly the “apple of my eye.”

Education:

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Calumet College of St. Joseph. I am currently seeking my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration; my anticipated graduation date is for November 2014.

Previous education experience and number of years in the field:

I started my teaching career at Aspire in 2008 as a first year teacher. I intend to stay at Aspire for a very long time, Aspire is my home!

What do you like most about working here?

I love my students, I can’t say enough about them. I am dedicated to making each student at Aspire successful. Also, there are so many phenomenal teachers in my building that make my job such a pleasure!

I am married to my wonderful husband, William. Together we have a 10 month old son, his name is Nicholas.
