What do you like most about working here?

The dedicated people I work with on a daily basis, the opportunities for professional growth, and the privilege of educating children. Every day I come to work with excitement in my heart to see the children and watch them learn and grow.

Other work experience:

I have been very privileged to work in the school setting for most of my adult life. I have experienced both conventional and charter school institutions. Working for NHA opened many new vistas for me and pushed me to develop my skills and expertise in ways I never thought possible. In 31 years of being an educator, I have seen many changes in how we educate our children. There is much work to be done, as many of our students are not receiving the education they need to be successful in the adult world. I am honored to be part of an organization that serves children first, and recognizes that it is the school’s responsibility to teach expertly so that children will learn.

Personal Information:

I love to golf, hike and read. Every summer we travel to the mountains in the west and visit one of the National Parks. My goal is to spend time hiking in all of America’s beautiful National Parks. We stay in the historic lodges to connect with the times of early 1900 vacationers. Also at the top of my list of loves, are spending time with my two grandchildren and husband. They bring fulfillment and adventure to my life.
