Jennifer Hofmeister, Principal

Education:

Louis University in Chicago - Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction
Alma College - Bachelor Degree, Elementary Education

Previous Experience:

Mrs. Hofmeister is a veteran educator with significant experience as a teacher and administrator, serving most recently as principal in residence at Canton Charter Academy. Prior to that, Mrs. Hofmeister served as Principal at Waukazoo Elementary School in Holland, Michigan. As an undergraduate of Alma College, Mrs. Hofmeister also holds her masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University

in Chicago.

Heather Brandon, K-2 Dean

Education:

University of California - BA in Human Development

University of Nevada, Las Vegas - Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction

California State University - Fullerton, M.S. in Reading

Previous education experience and number of years in the field:

Over the past six years, Mrs. Brandon taught both first and second grade, and then served as a Literacy Specialist. Mrs. Brandon has also worked part-time as a Content Area Consultant for grades K-2 and as an associate professor for Master's level reading courses.

Vanessa Titus, 3-5 Dean

Education:

Eastern Michigan University - Bachelors in Elementary Education

Madonna University - Master's in Literacy Education

Previous education experience and number of years in the field:

Mrs. Titus has been teaching for six years and holds endorsements in Math, Science, Early Childhood and is a Reading Specialist. Mrs. Titus taught Kindergarten her first year as a teacher and then first grade at Canton Charter Academy for the remaining five years.

Susan Kobylarz, Middle School Dean

Madonna University - Master of Science in Administration with a specialty in Educational Leadership

Previous Experience and Number of Years in the Field:

Ms. Kobylarz taught high school Social Students in Detroit for two years. Ms. Kobylarz has most recently worked at Canton Charter Academy for the past 11 years in various capacities as a fourth grade teacher, middle school teacher, instructional coach and 3-5th grade dean. Ms. Kobylarz also has endorsements in History and the Academic Study of Religion.
