Eagle Crest is proud to be a back-to-basics school where we focus on a challenging curriculum, moral development and parent involvement. The four core subjects of language arts, math, science and social studies receive the strongest emphasis. A powerful character education (moral focus) is integrated throughout all subject areas. Students also receive regular instruction in art, physical education and music (including vocal and instrumental music in grades 5 through 8). All students have regular use of a networked computer lab and the library. Spanish is taught to 4th through 8th grade students.
Parents are an extension of and vital component to our academic program. Parental involvement is the key to any child’s success. Therefore, parents are encouraged to participate in a variety of ways. It is not uncommon to see parents in almost every classroom throughout the day.
